Get on Board
Leadership Development for Board Success
What is Get on Board?
Get on Board is a cohort-based board leadership program designed to strengthen nonprofit boards in Southern Nevada by expanding the pipeline of values-driven, community-focused professionals ready for board service and strengthening the effectiveness of first-year board members.
Individuals interested in board service will receive training in governance principles, financial and strategic planning and oversight, fundraising, and networking for boards to prepare them for effective board service. In collaboration with key nonprofit partners, the program provides opportunities for participants to engage with experienced nonprofit leaders, observe governance in action, and strengthen their readiness to assume or enhance board leadership roles.
